  • https://community.livebetterwith.com/menopause/discussion/798/hrt-patches Hi @Kazza123 It's the rush of hormones that gives the side effects that you are explaining. Your body has been lacking them for so long as they diminish during menopause, the…

  • https://community.livebetterwith.com/menopause/discussion/comment/5079#Comment_5079 Definitely try using it on the outside of your arms for a bit. The skin is tougher there so may not irritate you as quickly. As for the problems with getting hrt I d…
  • https://community.livebetterwith.com/menopause/discussion/790/oestrogel-and-itchy-skin Hi @Loujay01 I also use oestrogel but I put it on my upper arms. It does itch but not excessively as yours is. It may be that you are allergic to one of the ingr…
  • https://community.livebetterwith.com/menopause/discussion/775/omega-7 Hi @Ruthy66 I think the best person to ask would be your GP or may be a pharmacist. Omega is a herbal supplement so it probably would be ok but it's always safer to check first. X

  • It's awful isn't it. I work in a hospital and they just can't seem to regulate the temperature. Even workmen that have come on to the ward have complained about the heat. I find that the only really thing that works while at work is to keep a fan on…
  • Someone told me to have a few spoonfuls of cottage cheese before bed.. might have to try it :). My problem is that I can fall asleep really easily. I just can't stay asleep and that's when I use the sleep meditation app which does help.

  • I've been told that teeth are a form of bone which as we know dilapidates during menopause so it does make sense that our teeth would fall apart too 🤔

  • https://community.livebetterwith.com/menopause/discussion/comment/4728#Comment_4728 Hi again @Manjit After reading up on it it seems it's related to the body's change in hormones which does make sense. They recommend an unscented good moisturiser t…
  • https://community.livebetterwith.com/menopause/discussion/737/advicadvice Hi @2019 It could well be the start of it or it may just be a virus. Do you have any other symptoms? Irritability, can't sleep, feeling like your blood is boiling, anxiety. R…

  • https://community.livebetterwith.com/menopause/discussion/732/early-menopause Hi @March73 I'm sorry to hear you are going through so much. To be honest HRT probably isn't the best route with cancer in your family. Have you ever thought of going on …
  • Hi @Graphia im glad to know you are finding the group helpful. Menopause unfortunately is still hidden in the closet so to speak and there isn't an awful lot of information out there on it so it is nice to know that you can come here and speak open…
