Perimenopause - facial hair!
I am 50 and going through the above. I have noticed through the drop in estrogen the skin on my face is starting to droop especially at the sides of my mouth. I am also experiencing increased hair on my chin/neck which is driving me mad! I have a fair complexion and these hairs aren't fair, they are dark! I feel if unchecked, I could become a member of ZZ Top with the beard that I could produce! I have read there is a cream called Vaniqa that could help with this as it is more than just a depilatory cream as it blocks the enzyme that stops the hair being produced. Have you any experience of this cream and its success? With regards to the sagging facial skin, do you think that facial exercises, massaging etc helps at all or is there a particular cream that has sufficient levels of estrogen/collagen in it to make a difference (that doesn't cost the earth!). Thank you in advance for your help. Regards Jo
