Hi Karen @Kazza123,
Dry & brittle hair is a common symptom of the menopause - and we've actually written loads of articles and guides that might help. :)
I'd definitely recommend having a look at this: https://menopause.livebetterwith.com/blogs/stories-info/changes-to-your-hair-pre-menopause
Our guide to menopause supplements might be worth a read too (this includes an A-Z list of symptoms and supplements that might help): https://menopause.livebetterwith.com/blogs/stories-info/menopause-supplements-a-beginner-s-guide
This thread is also full of good tips: https://community.livebetterwith.com/menopause/discussion/comment/3602#Comment_3602
Have you tried anything in particular already?
Thank you for the info i do already use the plantur shampoo but my feels dry. I might go for a head massage.
I've recently cut my hair short due to it looking dry lifeless and lank but I found found that by using Amla oil on my hair once a week it has given it so much more life and shine. It also helps with itchy scalp x
Hi I’ve just recently joined this forum I use Liz Earle shampoo and conditioner , I also use either Matrix hair oil or the Liz Earle one hope this helps my hair feels and looks so much better since using these products
Ladies I swear by vitamins Cod liver oil and multi vitamins but my saviour has been GrowMe shampoo and conditioner. Please try. My hair is shiny and soft. I did cut it shorter and it actually suits my she better. Good luck
I have been putting collagen ing coffee. I stop using permanent hair dye and use Sebastian cellophane to blend the gray. It is improving. Also, my Dr.s. kept putting me on Anti depressants and once I stopped those it helped. I just started BHRT Bijuva so hopefully this will also. I believe Rose oil is great too. Face skin. And shampoo.
