They should have a national Menopause day at work for us. At least to acknowledge it and support people while going through this transition in life it not only affects you physically but mentally too.
Menopause is real
Many businesses don't support World Menopause Day, especially this year... but when a large proportion of the workforce are women and menopause is something every women will go through it's a shame more isn't being done.
I do go into business talking about menopause, symptoms and how it impacts of women and men at work but so much more needs to be done.
As employers and employees its talking to HR and asking what work does to support women.
Staff who feel understood, supported and valued are less likely to leave, be more productive and have time off sick.
I have always had such positive feedback from employees and managers but we need to reach more.
