Hi Urssy (great name!), welcome to the Community! Indeed, it's a great place with lots of supportive ladies.

I'm Blanka, the Community Admin. 👋 You might see me, along with our lovely moderators @MonicaM and @Julie20 involved in quite a lot of the discussions on here.

We've got hundreds of conversations going on - feel free to join in any or open a new one.

You might have also seen that we have a panel of menopause experts (including a nutritionist, a sleep expert and a menopause nurse) you can chat to anytime. Here's the link:

Finally, if you fancy a general chit-chat, we have our Menopause Coffee Break section where we talk about everything off-topic ( day outs, books, etc ).

Anyway, how are you coping during the lockdown? Hope you and your family are staying safe. x

    Speak soon,

Hi, I'm 58 years old, I had an hysterectomy at age 36, I was ok for a few years as kept my ovaries , going in to menopause, like alot of ladies ,I've had my very sad days, crying for no reason & feeling over whelmed at times & having anxiety, having panic attacks at times, for no reason,in 2015 I felt so low & my body ,mainly my muscles hurt so bad, I went private through my husband's work to see a specialist, I had scans, nerve ending tests, I thought I was going mad & started to feel like a hypochondriac, the specialist diagnosed fibromyalgia, I was so relieved to have a name for how I felt.

Hello and welcome to our forum. You will find this group warming and engaging. We are all going through similar things so please feel free to take a look around.

I know a couple of people who experience a lot of pain with Fibromyalgia, I hope that medication can give you some relief so you won't be in so much discomfort.

We also have a nurse expert in our forum group. I have included the link you can always speak to her if you have any questions or concerns.
