Good evening Rob,
Funny little things they are.
How are you feeling Rob? Have you felt up to writing music or playing your keyboard? I went to folk club for first time in a while as I have been so washed out since my viral illness and have been very fatigued, but it was lovely singing and listening to around eighteen people performing playing instruments and singing. Was very uplifting. Hope you and Mary are ok.
Take care Rob and will be in touch soon.
Love Jackie 🙋♀️X
I too have had stomach issues. Prescribed an acid reducer. I get heartburn, acid reflux, bloating and just flat out upset stomach. I’m on so many meds, I decided to skip this pill and listen to my body. I now know what upsets my tummy, causes reactions and eat much less. I have lost 45 pounds since listening to my body and feel much better. I rarely have to take anything, only feeling bad if I ignore my body talk. Hope this helps.
Hi Rich's wife. It must be very sad knowing he can't cuddle his grandchildren. Sad for the grandchildren as well, as they won't understand why. But hopefully the seeds will have done their job and I am sure Richard will be able to give them lots more cuddles to make up for the times he has been unable too.
Cancer treatment seems to come at a price for everyone in different ways. But he obviously has a very loving family to support him.
Peace and love to you both.
Love Julie 🤗 x
That is really terrific news! I think that will put a smile on all our faces as it is always wonderful to hear such a story. Good luck with your last chemo coming up and take care of yourself.
Hi @Jaro44, how lovely to receive a message from your granddaughter like that. Arriving at the right moment you needed to hear something good to lift your spirits. I am not surprised you were emotional, I think I would be too!
I hope you have had a better weekend since then.
How wonderful it is to hear your good news! Especially after your initial diagnosis, to find yourself in a much better position and prognosis is very encouraging for you I am sure.
We always love to hear any good news here, as you will see from all the messages! It definitely causes us to smile and rejoice with you. I hope your recovery from surgery is going well and that you are managing to get through chemo ok.
Looking forward to chatting with you both again soon. You will soon get to know us and you will find a lot of support and friendship here.
Hi Kirsty. Having surgery and spending Christmas in hospital would not normally be something to celebrate, but your news is brilliant and I am delighted for you.
I am pleased that you have found our lovely Community. We love to chat, support and encourage each other and best of all, to share and celebrate good news together. You have certainly made me smile today.
What fantastic news. I hear so many stories like yours. The doctors are not always right and we are all unique.
Not too far away now before your last chemo.
May your health go from strength to strength.
Your story certainly put a smile on my face as well.
Goodness 18 is a lot but you’re over half way, that’s incredible, just keep crossing through the calendar every cycle rather then think of the weeks ahead.
I am 33 and had surgery in December 2019 for Breast cancer and commenced chemo in Jan.
Had my 2nd chemo last Thursday and have 4 more before I start radiotherapy for a month.
I have a few things plotted in the diary for when I’m through my treatment, a relaxing weekend in Dartmoor with my amazing hubby and my scrumptious dog (crazy springer!) and then a once in a lifetime trip to Florida with my hubby and step sons.
Yes I could cancel my Orlando trip and think about the money I am not currently earning the week commencing treatments (I’m self employed) but I’m going through all this so that I can live and be here for my loved ones, so what better way then to create magical memories!
If you haven’t got anything booked, even a night away for some normality, then get it booked. This is part of survival and gives us something to look forward to when we have darker days..
I wish you all the very best.. you’ve got this my love x
Awesome news! That is really great to hear that already you are seeing a positive impact of the treatment on the cancer. It is very encouraging and I am sure you must feel very relieved it is working. You are moving in the right direction!😊
It is good you have found a variety of headgear to wear, it does help, even if just to help keep you warmer!
I am really glad for you that this latest round is going smoothly too, you just keep on keeping on! We are all here for you, anytime you need us!😊
Have a restful weekend,
