Hi, I found this really helpful: https://dementia.livebetterwith.com/blogs/advice/things-to-do-activities-for-someone-with-dementia
Active Minds have a really good range, my mother's favourite is the animal bingo. Also colouring books are fantastic, we have so much of them. Mum used to work in theatre so she loves all Arts & Crafts.
Yes! Active Minds are great for puzzels!! Really lovely boxes to so its super easy to store and keep the peaces together as my husband does them.

Hi DanW, I found a game that my husband enjoyed until last year. It's called 'The Knot Game' and I bought it from TheWorks.co.uk. This game has wooden tiles with colorful pictures of rope and knots that you match up. Its a game for children (and adults) and is non provocative. My husband has a behavioral dementia and stopped traditional games a few years ago, but this one he enjoyed participating in for the longest time...we've even had the whole family taking in turns playing it. It's fun, interactive and would be a fabulous gift if you're looking for inspiration. 😉
