    I know how you feel.  Struggling with a cold just now and have a terrible cough.  Awake half the night and due my next Chemo tomorrow, trying to look after my husband who also has terminal cancer, so life is tough at the moment😞

    Yes I agree some days so tired but make myself go for walk and tackle one small task. ..not easy  and doing or rather learning to do cartoons of the situation ..still on early stages but laugh at some efforts and a little sense of achieving ..be kind to yourselves

    Hi @puppy3
    It is horrible isn't it.  Unfortunately, having a sleep or a rest doesn't seem to help.
    I am lucky that I am retired so I can loll around on the rare occasions my wife allows it. I try to get up at 7.30am every morning and get moving with the day.  I find that going for a long walk freshens me up - indeed any kind of exercise does that.
    I am lucky to have my music too as when I am sitting at my keyboard, or just listening, I always feel happy and relaxed.

    HI yes feel the need to walk everyday and small task, sleeping pattern disruptive so 4 am ..
    Wake up time ...so going with the flow.

    Most times relaxed as not at work...but need occasional stimulus and day time .does not always meet expectations. Glad to hear music works will try that
    Take care and be kind to yourself

    As a long term cancer patient and now on the last phase my advice is go with your body rest when you need to get up shower and this part is hard have some breakfast go for short walks even if it is jyst down the road this part is hard but I have always tried to find a positive in the negative hair loss saves on shampoo and conditioner put the money to one side and treat yourself to something when chemo is over try to laugh each day enjoy your friends yes you will be tired go out 1 day and rest the following look after yourself the Doctor and Nures are there for you enjoy what you have my Love and best wishes to you all do not give in

    Morning @Bker7090 ;

    You were awake early this morning.  I had real problems with tiredness an still being unable to sleep, probably because there was too much going on in my head. A friend got me to try mindfulness and meditation. Poo pooed it at first, but it helped.

    Hi @puppy3
    How are you doing? Hope things are improving for you x

    @Karen_C
    Hi, hope your chemo went smoothly this week. How are you finding getting used to no hair? I had a laugh going shopping for hats with a friend. The thought of losing it was awful, but once it was gone, it was ok. Just had to keep my head warm, especially at night when I would wear a beanie hat. I hope you are able to get some rest. x

    Hi
    just back fro Chemo No 7.  It really knocks me out for the day and I just need to sleep afterwards, but I’m usually OK the next day.  I’ve got baking to do for Christmas so I’d better be 👩🏼‍🍳

    A week last Saturday I was in the shower and put conditioner on my hair and ran my fingers through it and ended up with two hands full of hair.  I got straight out of the shower and asked my husband to shave it off.  It was actually a relief not to watch it falling slowly out.

    i have found a great company online who do great hats other than the run of the mill turbans.  They are a great company to deal with.

    hope all is well with you xx

    Hi @Karen_C ;

    Christmas baking during chemo! I wasn't able to do that, no xmas cake that year! Hope you enjoy the baking, don't get too fatigued. I understand about the hair, probably just as well it went as I remember getting such a hot head I couldn't bear to have anything on my head sometimes haha.

    I am really well now thank you, no more cancer, recovery from it all has been slower than I expected, but life is good. I am here, and I might not have been. Hope you have a peaceful weekend.

    Hi @Sunshinedaff
    i got the cake made, but not sure if it will get iced 😂.  The Chemo just seems to make me tired for a couple of days.  Husband only likes home made mince pies, so that’s a job for tomorrow.

    So pleased to hear you are well now and that life is good.  Take care and live life to the full. Xx
