Good morning lovely friends,
Rob, I am so glad the procedure went well and the results were good, apart from radiation damage. I know these tests etc always carry an element of anxiety and fear. But it is good news, glad you and Mary were able to enjoy a lovely meal afterwards. You must have been famished!
Hi Catherine, I am so pleased to hear you are feeling stronger and in a better place. Perhaps it was partly an effect of the morphine. It used to send me all over the place, my family would tell me some of the things I did, and I would have no memory of it! Lol! 😄.
We have a brighter day here, not sure if it will last, but at least for now I can see the sunshine, even if I can't feel it's warmth!
I wish you all a peaceful weekend.

It is always a relief to hear good news. I know that we all have to undergo tests and treatments and then wait anxiously for the results. It makes the load feel so much lighter knowing that we have friends to share our good news and support us when it is not so good.
Wishing you all a lovely weekend.
Thanks Rob. That's great to hear. What relief.
So pleased that everything turned out well for you.
Glad to hear that you have made up for the fasting ha ha.

Nice to hear from you all and good all is well and happy.
Good to hear from you. You must be nearly through your treatment by now. I hope that you have continued to cope OK with your treatments and that you are not snowed in . It has been really wet here, but at last, we are having some drier and brighter weather. It is a relief as a brother in law is coming over tomorrow with his new partner who has never been to Jersey and we are looking forward to showing her around our lovely Island.
I hope that you are OK and that you have been getting that weight back on. Christmas is a good time to do that and I am afraid my willpower has gone out of the window for now anyway.
Wishing you and your family a very Happy Christmas and a really special 2020.
Hi lovely to hear from you. Yes I'm a little fatty at 7st 2lbs - but I have lots of chocolates to devour over the next few days.
I'm scheduled for surgery at the Royal Marsden on 9th January. After that who knows.
I wish you and your family a very happy Christmas and a healthy New Year.
Let's catch up next year. 🌲🌲💕💕
Great to hear from you. I hope that you are enjoying those chocolates and working your way back up to your regular weight.
We had a really lovely Christmas Day with friends and their 13 year old daughter. I even won at Cluedo which improved my street cred no end.
Enjoy the rest of the holiday and I look forward to catching up in the New Year.
Hi glad you've had a great Christmas. Ours was quite but very nice. I dare not get on the scales after 3 days of eating and being a couch potato 🥮🍧🍨🥧🍰🍮🎂.
Haha, I don’t think you will worry the scales too much. You are probably still a way from your 7st 7lb fighting weight and a few chocs won’t do any harm. Mary and I were in the post Christmas shops today looking for special offers on turkish delight which I love and we managed to pick up a few boxes of mince pies at half price. 😋😋
I am so pleased that you had a good Christmas. I know that you are due to have your surgery on Thursday and you will be in my thoughts. Last year was a really tough one for you and Kes and I feel sure that you will be able to look forward to a much better 2020 once your op is out of the way.
Looking forward to hearing that you will soon be out and about with Splash - and Kes of course.
Happy New Year to you. Glad you are well and that your appetite has improved ha ha.
Yes surgery on Thursday. We have to go down on Wednesday afternoon as I am having some blue dye injected into me - I think I may look like a smurf!! Plus have to sign consent papers etc.
I'm being very positive and this time next week it will be over and I will be on the road to recovery.
I will message you as soon as I am able.
Happy New Year to you, I hope you had a lovely Christmas, it always seems to go so fast I find, blink and you miss it! I am still tidying up after it all!
I just wanted to send you very best wishes for a speedy recovery after your operation today. I hope everything went according to plan and that you will be able to return home very soon. Hopefully this is a good start to the new year for you and an indication of healthier days to come for you after all you have endured. Let's hope 2020 is a much good year, keep moving forwards to better days.
Sending you a huge, gentle hug, thinking of you,

Good morning. Just to let you know that surgery went very well. I'm feeling very good physically and very positive mentally.
Hardly any pain and can manage with a paracetamol.
Looking at myself cannot see any difference in my breasts however I have a blue hue from the dye they injected into me and look like a little smurf!.
We are just off to have breakfast and then catching the train home.
I can't believe the surgery is over. Back in two weeks for results.
Wishing you all a happy healthy New Year.
Best wishes Cxx
Good morning Catherine,
This is great news to hear, I am so pleased for you. Hopefully the smurf look will subside quickly!
I know you will be glad to get back home again, although a quick turnaround for you to travel back for the results, but in the meantime you can be healing and recovering.
Enjoy your breakfast! Safe travels home.

What great news. Another important step taken and another "big tick" off the list. Isn't it amazing with everything you've gone and come through! Recuperate well and fingers crossed for the results.
Very best wishes.

How lovely to hear from you so soon after your surgery. Well, the worst is over and I am pleased that you are feeling well and in good spirits.
I love your joke about the Smurf effect too. I am sure that your willingness to talk about your experience is encouraging to others in our Community who are facing a similar operation.
I hope you have a really special 2020.
