Hi Tracy yes relaxing now.I had a pet scan it's where they inject solution into you to show certain areas doesn't hurt , and the Ct machine is like a big polo mint that passes over you, nothing like theMri scan I didn't like it because I get claustrophobic but got round that one by wearing an eye mask and they put earphones on Me! See! I told you I was a whimp!🙄

    Hi to you all!

Tracy, I knew you would get a response from others going through bowel cancer who are able to give you a more detailed explanation relating to the type of treatment you may find yourself having in the future.

Mpatz, a very warm welcome to you, thank you so much for sharing your story and experience. It is wonderful to hear you are now clear of cancer.

Lesley my friend, you are a superstar because I know how tough it is for you at the moment.

All the replies just on this thread is proof of how this community really comes together to help each other. It is a real privilege to be part of this group.

Tracy, as Lesley and Mpatz have said, you will get through this, you will find a strength within that you never knew you had .

    🤗🤗

    Lou xx

Hi Tracy I have bowel cancer. I was diagnosed December 17 had my chemo and two surgeries in 2018. Am more advanced as my cancer was caught late.

I've found the journey has its ups and downs and you will need a lot of support. Medical staff are amazing and give you a lot of help. The big thing for me was asking for the help but if you let medical staff around you know how your feeling, your fears and worries they will do everything they can to help.

Everyone's journey is different and we all go through different experiences but forums like this are so helpful and supportive. I also go on Bowel cancer UK it's more specific to our cancer and has lots of advice and help.

It's good to be able to talk to people who know what your going through. The people on this forum are so warm and friendly and will support you as much as they can.

So welcome and I hope things go as well as possible for you

    Big hugs Tracey 🤗
