September 1st... back to school...

Hello everyone,

I know today for many is the first day of the Autumn term, and children have returned to school.

Many of our members here are either teachers or have children of school age.

It is an anxious time especially now, not knowing exactly how school is going to pan out with Covid restrictions in place.

I do hope that if you or your families are beginning this new term this week or next that children are able to settle back into some routine again.

Thinking of you as parents who are dealing with cancer and looking after children as well. I hope it all goes well for you.

Take care, chat soon,

Lou xx

    Hi Lou

Wow, September already. I agree, it must be a worrying time for parents and teachers but I am sure that they are keen to get things back to normal and the children too.

Our apartment is just across the road from a primary school and we are really enjoying seeing the children excitedly skipping up the road to meet their friends and hearing them running about in the playground at break times. Lovely to feel the sense of normality returning.

    Keep safe everyone.
