Is there an alternative to a ppi as long term effects don't sound good

thanks for getting in touch. Can I ask for what reason you need to be on a ppi?
The newer ppi’s such as esomeprazole are now sometimes offered but like any medication should be reviewed with you on a regular basis to check they are still needed.
