    @Alastair

    Hello, good morning, I just wanted to welcome you to the community.

    I had to look up Sutent as I hadn't heard of it, and didn't know what it was.

    I am very sorry to hear you have a recent diagnosis that requires this type of treatment and medication.

    Looking at what it is used for I know there are several others who have diagnosis under this 'umbrella' hopefully they will come forward and share their experiences with you. Everyone here is very friendly, it is a good place you can come just to chat about anything really.

    How are you doing? Has your treatment been interrupted due to the virus?

    I hope you are managing ok and have all the support you need.

    Hope to chat soon,

    Take care,

    Lou x

    Thank you for the welcome. Sutent is kind of targeted chemo, by tablet. I started in January and it had stabilised my tumors so far. Moving now from 4/weeks on, 2/weeks off 50mg, to 2-weeks on, 1-week off 37.5mg. Side effects were too challenging after round 2. So-we’ll see how it goes. I’m lucky to have got on the programme before lockdown started.
