Does anyone else have itchy skin?

So glad itchy skin is mentioned on this forum?  When I complained at hospital they tried to imply I was the only person with es, this, and top dermatologist even tried to blame this on my age!  Luckily the Chaplain told me to go to France - I did, and found their health service fully acknowledged this was a common problem during cancer treatment. What's more, their hospitals had developed special creams and balms that dealt very effectively with this problem. If you mention other websites, I have written about this on aftercancers.com, and anyone living in Thames Valley can come to a Wellness Day on April 12th and try these out.

    Hi @veriterc

I had problems with itchy skin following radiotherapy treatment and my hospital dermatologist was very helpful. She prescribed Dermol 500 to use in the shower instead of soap and to apply Cetraben cream to my skin twice a day. The itching subsided quite quickly and I still use both products two years later.
Of course, I am no expert, but it worked for me. Rob
